Some Facts About IEEE Referencing Style
The full form for IEEE is Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
The IEEE referencing style includes citations, which are numbered in order of their availability. Referencing the citations means providing the sources for your data from where it has been taken. The IEEE referencing style citations are arranged numerically.

The basics of IEEE referencing style –
a. In-text citing – In the intext citing, it is not mandatory to include the author’s name or how many pages are utilized or day when it was published. Instead of including all this, the writer should refer to the number of references he used and he should put in the brackets e.g. (1).
b. Place the bracketed sources within the line of the sentence.
c. Number the citations as you use them in the paper.
d. Whenever the students are citing the multiple or more than one reference, give them separate numbers like this
(1), (2), (3) ….

How to create An IEEE referencing style list –
The referencing style always appear at the extremity of the list of the work you have done and provide quotations for all sources that the student has used. The second rule to be followed by the students is to always arrange the sources in the number rather than using in the alphabetical order.
a. The references should be centered aligned or left aligned.
b. Always make a drooping mark or indent for each source.
c. There is also some tactics to be followed while writing the author’s name like if the name of the writer8 is Alex AL Marathon then, it would be written in the way A.AL Marathon.
d. The title of the article is in Quotation marks.
e. The title of the books should be in italic fonts.
f. The style of referencing should expose all the required information for the reader so that he may find the exact source from where the information is taken.
There are different styles of formatting the references. One such style is Harvard referencing styles –
The main difference between Harvard referencing style and IEEE referencing style is that the IEEE uses numbering style format whereas Harvard style referencing do not.
What should be the size of font for the IEEE referencing style?
The normal text should be in Times Roman style font in the size 10, with 12 point spacing between the lines and it should be in the two-column format. The next thing to be kept in mind is that the first line of the paragraph should be intended approximately ¼ inch which is normally 0.7 cm and the student has to justify the whole text.
